The producer-price index (PPI) for April came in higher than expected, although the March reading was revised downward. April’s retail sales data and earnings from Cisco Systems are due on Wednesday. Stock futures remain steady, and the Nasdaq Composite closed at a new all-time high. The 10-year Treasury yield saw a slight decrease, while front-month copper futures continue to surge.
